Living in Chile

After 15 years I hung up my Ranger boots and headed to Chile to see what life would bring me. I was hoping to learn Spanish and I was attempting to teach English at a local school. Neither of those two things happened! My Spanish is what I call conversational so it’s enough to get around any of the Spanish speaking countries but don’t ask me to translate! My career as an English teacher lasted less than 3 months. However, by following synchronicity and moving to Chile I had created an open space in my life that resulted in writing The Gaia Effect. If I never moved to Chile I doubt this would have happened. So even when things seem to be going terribly wrong and not at all how you planned, take courage and have faith. There is always a reason for the season. While I'm no longer in Chile, I still have many fond memories of my wonderful friends and rich experiences.
